Individuals privately or jointly with other individuals can open this deposit account;
- personal saving account yields the minimum saving interest rate set by NBE;
- Deposits and withdrawals can be made with or without a passbook at the branch;
- This account is not meant for business or trading activities;
- A valid and renewed ID card & One recent passport-size picture is required;
- The initial minimum deposit for the opening of saving Accounts shall be Birr 50 (fifty birrs) while the minimum balance for interest accrual is Birr 101 (One hundred one birr).
